About the Author

About Tom Babbey

Tom Babbey is an award-winning Illustrator, concept artist, and art director in the fantasy gaming industry, as well as a classically trained art instructor and traditional wildlife fine artist. Tom’s artwork can be seen in a wide range of Dungeons and Dragons rulebooks and supplements, as well as on the tabletop, where he’s designed hundreds of Official D&D miniatures.

When he’s not adventuring in Faerun, Tom teaches traditional painting and drawing at the renowned Watts Atelier of the Arts in Southern California, where he strives to keep alive a lineage of learning focused on the fundamentals of representational art.
